How do I Book a Private Room?

All of our rooms are now private. Once you book the room, your group will be the only group playing at that time. Please note, maximum number of players does still apply.

Are the rooms kid friendly?

We consider ourselves family friendly, but due to the nature of the entertainment kids under 12 tend to not have very much fun in mystery and escape rooms. The intensity of solving a cipher or interpreting symbols just doesn’t appeal to younger kids. We recommend saving the room experiences for when they are older and can truly be part of the team. Please note players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and children under age 6 are not allowed in the rooms.

What do I need to bring?

For room games, bring your wits, your sense of fun and your ability to think outside the box. Personal items are not allowed in the rooms. They may be left in your vehicle or secured in lockers in our lobby area. All materials for successful completion of rooms are provided.

What about group bookings?

We welcome group bookings up to 18 people for our rooms, players will be divided into groups according to the limits for each room. The Social Room is available for rent if you are looking for a place to gather everyone together. We also offer many options for corporate groups, call us to find out what we can do for your group!

Is the door locked for room experiences?

The door is not locked, you are free to leave at any time. Leaving the room does end the game, however.

What if we can’t solve a puzzle?

Games are monitored by a game master who can be your knight in shining armor if you get stuck. Just ask your game master for a hint to get you headed in the right direction!

Are you handicapped accessible?

We are accessible to the handicapped. However, some rooms may have limited access due to setting. Please call before booking and we can set you up with a room that everyone in your party will be able to enjoy.

What if I need to change my booking?

If you need to change a booking or make special arrangements, please feel free to call us. We will do our best to accommodate you. Bookings can easily be changed up to 12 hours before the scheduled start time. Less than 12 hours notice may limit what we can do for you and all bookings are non refundable. Please note that certain time slots will book up quickly.

How many people do we need to have to play?

The current rooms are designed to be played by up to five players. Even a single player may be successful, but we recommend at least 2 players per room. If you would like someone to play with, book a room with slots already taken. It’s a great way to make new friends. You will be amazed at how much bonding you can achieve in an hour.

How long will it take?

Plan for 1 hour 30 minutes to complete your Mystery Room game. This includes signing waivers, orientation, game play and debriefing.

What if we don’t reach the goal in an hour?

The game ends at the one hour mark. If you like we can walk you through the rest of the puzzles so you can see how close you were.

Can we try the room again if we don’t complete it?

We don’t recommend playing the same room again. You will already know most if the answers and where’s the fun in that!? We would be happy to book you one of our other rooms if you feel the need for redemption!

Is this a franchise?

There are franchised escape room companies, but Minute59 is a locally developed, independent business. All rooms are designed in house and much of the design is centered on custom handmade props. This ensures a one of a kind experience to our players. We are obsessed with creating unique, challenging and, most of all fun, games!
